Brother Robin Carson to be awarded the Masonic Medal of Merit at the 105 Grand Communication of Alberta, 10:00AM. Grand Lodge closes at 3:30PM, with a barbequeu to follow at 5:30PM. Please join Bro. Carson if you can to share the event with him and show our pride in Evergreen Lodge.


June 8 - 11, 2010: Volunteer Days at Fort Edmonton

Where: Fort Edmonton Park

Details:

As always, Evergreen Lodge is proud to be able to participate in this fun and informative event, held annually at Fort Edmonton Park.

Our guides will be on site all three days to show you around Fort Masonic Lodge room, and to be on hand to answer any questions you may have about Freemasonry in general, Evergreen Lodge in particular, or any aspects of our history or the Craft.

Evergreen Lodge is again holding its "Western Rite" on the evening of Monday, May 10. Come and join us for a different kind of meeting, with an emphasis on fun, not formality.

Afterwards, enjoy a special Western Night festive board, featuring chili, ribs, baked beans, pasta, coffee and tea. Cost for this festive board is $10, payable at the door.


Saturday, April 10, 2010: Evergeen Ladies' Night

Where: Teddy's Restaurant, 11361 Jasper Avenue

Cocktails at 5:30 PM , followed by Dinner at 6:30 PM

Entertainment and a dance to follow dinner. Teddy's has been a fixture in downtown Edmonton for nearly 60 years now, and this promises to be an unforgettable evening, with great food and great entertainment.

Saturday, March 13, 2010: Freemasons' Hall Gala

Where: Edmonton Freemasons' Hall

Details:

The 2010 Freemasons' Hall Gala is a fundraiser to help us maintain and modernize the historic Freemasons' Hall in downtown Edmonton.

Doors open at 6:00 PM with a cash bar. The dinner menu is provided by our private caterer and includes roast prime rib of beef, chicken, salad, dessert, and coffee/tea. Light jazz entertainment through cocktails and dinner will be provided by Edmonton's very own Fabulous Tuxedo Junkies.

Surprise entertainment will immediately follow dinner, and after that there is a silent auction with some wonderful items up for grabs. We are also raffling off prizes donated by Westmount Jewellers.

Cost is $100. Raffle tickets are $10 each.

August 18-21, 2009: Fort Edmonton Park Guides

Where: Fort Edmonton Park

A popular annual event for our members as well as other lodges. Evergreen Lodge will be providing guides for the Fort Edmonton Park Masonic Museum. Come out and let us show you the Fort Lodge Room, take a look at the memorabilia from days past, and talk to us directly about Freemasonry.

Our guides will be on hand between 10AM to 6PM all four days


August 16, 2009: Annual Barbecue

Our annual barbecue wil be held this year at JW Bro. Chester Ferguson's house (address and directions upon request). This will be a potluck event; please bring whatever you want to be barbecued. BYOB. Please RSVP directly to the Junior Warden.


Monday, June 22, 2009: Special Emergent Meeting

Where: Fort Edmonton Lodge Hall

Details:

This meeting is to be held in the Fort Edmonton Lodge Hall. Special Festive Board commences at 6:30PM. Starting at 7:30, a total of five brethren will be passed to the Second Degree. All Masonic brethren are invited to attend the ceremony.

There is a $10 fee for the Festive Board.


May 27, 2009: Onoway Lodge British Night

Where: Onoway Legion Hall, Onoway AB

Details:

May 11, 2009: Western Night

Details:

Our May 11 regular meeting will have a Western theme. No business suits allowed! Wear your best Western wear to lodge. A very entertaining event is planned (it's a surprise), and our D.D.G.M. the Right Worshipful Bro Ken Cheel will be in attendance. In addition, an entertaining Festive Board is planned, with a Western accent and additional activities.


May 3, 2009: Edmonton River Valley Cleanup

Where: Royal Gardens Community, Edmonton

Details:

This year, brethren of Evergreen Lodge are pleased to be able to participate in the Edmonton River Valley Clean-up. This year, as in the past, we will be cleaning the park across from Richard Secord Elementary School. We will be meeting at a local restaurant for breakfast prior to starting the clean-up at about 10:30AM.

We welcome any and all to come and help us make Edmonton a better, cleaner, brighter place to live!
